Exec says Sberbank not to buy O’Key, Galereya mall

MOSCOW, Apr 30 (PRIME) -- Russia’s biggest lender Sberbank does not consider purchasing retailer O’Key and St. Petersburg’s mall Galereya, Deputy CEO Alexander Morozov said during a conference call on Tuesday.

“There were many rumors that Sberbank will buy O’Key and Galereya in St.Petersburg but these are rumors, we are not going to do this,” Morozov said.

“Concerning these two deals, we look at them as an investment bank and can potentially open a credit line for potential buyers or for the existing owners.”
